The project „Increasing the number of tourists in the tourist resort Stancija Meneghetti by increasing the accommodation capacities, upgrading the existing ones and introducing additional tourist facilities, is implemented as part of the Competition Supporting the development of SMEs in tourism by increasing the quality and additional offer of the hotel“, within the Operational Program „Competitiveness and Cohesion“.

The project implementation period is from 15 February 2016 to 15 December 2017.

 Total eligible project costs: HRK 22,630,444.20 

 Grant amount: HRK 9,848,932.76 

The goal of the project „Increasing the number of tourists in the tourist resort Stancija Menghetti by increasing accommodation capacity, improving existing and introducing additional tourist facilities” is to contribute to the development of tourism and economy through increasing accommodation capacity, improving existing and introducing new additional facilities and extending the season in Bale, by increasing the level of quality of accommodation and increasing employment.

The direct effects of the project are the impact on unemployment, the increase in tourist arrivals and overnight stays, the reduction of seasonality and thus the increased consumption. Overall, it contributes to the quality of life of the residents of the area where the project is implemented and increases the standards of the wider community.

The overall objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of Menghetti d.o.o. increasing the accommodation capacities, contents and tourist offer and recognizability of the tourist resort Stancija Meneghetti.

The purpose of the project is to increase the number of guests in the tourist resort Stancija Meneghetti by increasing the categorization and accommodation capacities and to ensure the filling of capacities by improving the existing and introducing additional tourist facilities. The purpose of the project is also to increase the quality of business and guest satisfaction by educating employees.

The implementation of the project is expected to meet the conditions for categorization of four-star tourist resort, increase the number of guests in the tourist resort, introduce additional tourist facilities, extend the tourist season in the tourist resort Stancija Meneghetti for the whole year, create 6 new jobs and improve eno gastro, conference and Spa tourist offers.

All construction and craft works are expected, construction of 6 new rooms in the Meneghetti Hotel, construction and equipping of 3 new residential buildings, expansion of the kitchen, construction of a staff room and service entrance, extension of a new room for serving food and beverages, construction of a smaller service room with wardrobe and storage, toilet for maids with separate external entrance, installation of elevator, rehabilitation of existing pools (outdoor and indoor) and construction of a new outdoor pool, procurement and installation of new equipment (sanitary equipment and accessories, furniture, kitchen equipment, TV system and television sets), procurement and installation of an integral information system, introduction of new additional facilities (massage table, sauna) and maintenance of 2 training sessions for 13 Meneghetti doo employees, as well as participation in 2 international fairs.
