Vineyard
Estate vineyards at Stancija Meneghetti in Bale are planted on red soils, exposed to the bora wind and marked temperature shifts. Managed according to the Simonit & Sirch pruning method with a sustainable approach and low yields to ensure concentration.
Production
The grapes are gently whole-cluster pressed, the must settled in stainless steel, and both fermentation and malolactic conversion carried out in large 2,000-litre oak casks and partly in 225-litre barriques. The wine matures for ten months with continuous lees stirring until filtration and bottling, followed by a further 12 months of bottle ageing.
